DMCA Takedown Policy
Digital Millennium Copyright Act Notice and Takedown Procedures under 17 U.S.C. § 512.
MethStreams respects the intellectual property rights of sports leagues, broadcast networks, and copyright owners. We comply promptly with the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA) and expeditiously remove or disable infringing hyperlinks upon receipt of a compliant notice.
1 Information Location Tool Statement
MethStreams operates solely as an information location tool as defined under 17 U.S.C. § 512(d). We do not host, store, stream, or retransmit audio/video signals on any of our systems or servers. All video streams referenced in match schedules originate from independent, external third-party hosts.
Because the physical video streams are hosted elsewhere, disabling a link on MethStreams removes access through our directory, but cannot delete files from third-party hosting providers. To remove content from the web entirely, rights owners should also contact the actual hosting host.
2 How to Submit a DMCA Takedown Notice
To request the removal of a specific link from our index, please provide a written notification containing all of the following statutory requirements (pursuant to 17 U.S.C. § 512(c)(3)):
- Physical or Electronic Signature: A signature of a person authorized to act on behalf of the owner of an exclusive right that is allegedly infringed.
- Identification of the Copyrighted Work: A clear description of the copyrighted work claimed to have been infringed (e.g., "Broadcast of Manchester United vs Chelsea on Sep 13, 2026").
- Specific Link Location: The exact URL(s) on MethStreams where the link appears (e.g.,
https://methstreams.day/match.html?id=53508). General requests without exact URLs cannot be processed. - Contact Information: Your full legal name, company name (if applicable), physical mailing address, telephone number, and official email address.
- Good-Faith Statement: A statement that you have a good-faith belief that use of the material in the manner complained of is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law.
- Perjury Statement: A statement that the information in the notification is accurate, and under penalty of perjury, that you are authorized to act on behalf of the copyright holder.

4 Action Upon Receipt
Upon receiving a legally complete DMCA takedown notice, our team will:
- Review the notice for statutory compliance.
- Expeditiously remove, delist, or disable access to the specified link from our live match database.
- Confirm removal via email to the submitting copyright holder or authorized representative within 24–48 business hours.
5 Counter-Notification Procedures
If a content provider or streamer believes that a link was removed by mistake or misidentification, a counter-notification may be submitted pursuant to 17 U.S.C. § 512(g)(2)–(3). The counter-notice must include:
- The streamer's physical or electronic signature.
- Identification of the material that has been removed and the URL before removal.
- A statement under penalty of perjury that the subscriber has a good-faith belief the material was removed by mistake.
- The streamer's contact information and consent to federal court jurisdiction.
6 Repeat Infringer Policy
In accordance with Section 512(i) of the DMCA, MethStreams maintains a policy of terminating index permissions and permanently blacklisting stream mirror domains and channels identified as repeat infringers.
